Do you have GF options?
We offer at least 3 GF mains and sides each week. Please view our “weekly menu” page to see ingredients. Please note there may be cross contamination as we are not a GF kitchen.
What if I’m not home for delivery?
You do not need to be home! Our meals are delivered in cooler bags and stay cold for at least 2-3 hours. If you want to leave a cooler out, we can also place your bag in there to stay colder until you get home.
Do I have to be vegan and/or zero-waste to use this service?
Absolutely not! The Conscious Kitchen strives to offer food for everyone whether you are vegan, veg-curious, zero-waste, or just trying to reduce your impact on our planet. We want to make sustainable & ethical food as accessible and easy for everyone who wants it!
How do the containers work? Can I use my own?
We supply all of the containers used for your purchases. Our containers and both glass jars and high quality, BPA-free plastic. Your delivery will include a specific number of containers & jars. Please ensure you clean them after use and set them aside. During your next delivery, they will be collected along with the cooler bag. All of the containers are then sanitized in our kitchen before they are used again.
Do you have a minimum order cost for delivery?
Yes. Delivery is $5, but we do require that your order be at least $40 to qualify for delivery.
Do I have to order every week?
No! We don't operate as a subscription service, so you can order when you please. We do however ask that customers order somewhat frequently (one or more times per month) to keep our container program running smoothly.
Are all of your products organic and local?
Roughly 95% of our ingredients are organically sourced and 75% are locally sourced during the growing season. Most of our vegetables and some grains and legumes are sourced locally and we curate our prepared meals in accordance to what is in season. See “about us” for more info.
