I've been a vegan for 12 years and tried my best to cook well balanced meals for myself. I moved back up to Collingwood in 2020 and a year later, was becoming very bored with my cooking. I was making large batches of the same meals and freezing them so I would at least have three weeks of food supply and I wouldn't have to cook as often.
I was hearing a lot about other food prep companies which didn't have the option of providing vegan meals and I grew disappointed because I couldn't find a company that had vegan options. I was on Facebook one day and The Conscious Farm Kitchen advertisement came into my feed! I began to read what Celeste had to offer and I immediately gave it a try!
I appreciated that the food was delivered right to my door, all the meals were fresh and delicious, I would meet Celeste outside my door with the returnable containers and we'd have great conversations. I wanted to get to know the owner of the company, even though she probably had further meals to deliver, she always made time for a chat.
I have to say that my digestive system has improved greatly since ordering from The Conscious Farm Kitchen. I very rarely have [ready-made] frozen meals, which by the way, are very high in salt! When Celeste would take well deserved time off, my body couldn't wait for her to come back and have fresh food again!
With the increasing prices of food, I don't think I'd be able to buy from the grocery store what Celeste's prices are for the meals. I'd probably be paying much more if I were to buy from the grocery store and cook fresh meals daily.
