"Perfect for the reluctant vegan! I decided to go vegan overnight after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and learning that autoimmune diseases are often very responsive to dietary changes - specifically, eliminating all animal-based proteins.
The Conscious Farm Kitchen has made the transition SO MUCH easier - it removes the stress from 3-4 of our dinner meals each week and more importantly, the food is amazing!
I was really concerned about my partner's experience with cutting out meat/fish/eggs/dairy as he grew up on a cattle ranch in Alberta and has always enjoyed a meat/dairy heavy diet, but even he is really enjoying the food! It is allowing us to see the range of possibilities for vegan food which is super helpful for steering me in the right direction on the nights that I cook.
Initially I thought that I would just use this service until I felt more comfortable with this completely new way of eating - but it is going to be very difficult to give it up! I've tried to be intentional about using the time saved from not having to meal prep to pursue other wellness-based activities instead.
