How to Return Containers and Cool Bag

As part of our sustainability and zero waste mission, we have a reusable container program. When you place your order, you will be able to select either compostable, or reusable containers. If you choose reusable containers, your order will come in a cool bag. The cool bag and the containers will need to be returned to us, there are a number of ways you can return your coolbag and/or containers to us.

In this document you will find information on what you need to do with your reusable containers and how to return them to us whether you are on a subscription service, or ordered a one-off delivery.

Returning Containers for Meal Subscription Customers

If you have an active weekly meal subscription, we will collect your containers when we next deliver your meals. You can either return reusable containers by leaving them outside, or by handing them to our delivery driver when we deliver.

Step 1: Clean your containers after use. Please wash each container ensuring they are thoroughly scrubbed with soap. There should ne no oil or food residue.

Step 2: Put all of your clean containers in your cool bag ready to return cooler bag and containers

Step 3: Leave the cool bag filled with the reusable containers on your porch or beside your door before 9am on your delivery day. We deliver on the same day every week.

Step 4: Repeat the process weekly

Returning Containers for Non-Meal Subscription Customers

If you do not have an active subscription and will not be getting another delivery from us but have a cool bag to return and/or reusable containers to return, you will need to let us know that you're ready for us to collect.

Step 1: Clean your containers after use. Please wash each container ensuring they are thoroughly scrubbed with soap. There should ne no oil or food residue.

Step 2: Put all of your clean containers in your cooler bag ready to return cool bag with the containers

Step 3: Email info@theconsciousfarmkitchen.com to book a collection for the cool bag and/or reusable containers. Please include your address in the email.

Step 4: We will be in your area again on the same day we initially delivered your meals. Please leave the cool bag filled with the reusable containers on your porch or beside your door before 9am on your delivery day.

Please note: if you will be receiving another delivery from us, you do not need to email to book a collection. You can instead follow the above steps for 'Returning Containers for Meal Subscription Customers' instead.
